ABOUT 2nd Maryland
Company G
We are Living History and reenacting group based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
We Portray Company G of the 2nd Marylanders (1st Maryland Battalion) Of the Confederacy. 1862-1865
Our Members live In the Mid Atlantic Region.
We are a family Group, but try and portray an army on the march.
Most of our living History Events are around the Maryland/Delaware area, but our Reenactments We try to stay in the mid Atlantic region. Sometimes we will travel out of the region to other reenactments.
Education:
We do Encourage our Members to do research on the unit. learn the uniforms, weapons', and accoutrements that the everyday solder would be issued, received from home, or bought.
Group Outings
As a Group we also go to battlefields and Museums to learn more about the American Civil War and the Battles.
As well as to spend time with our Reenacting Family.
